Must-visit attractions:
1⃣ Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. The first attraction when entering the park from the west side. It feels like wandering in an endless desert, with gently rising yellow-brown sand dunes reaching nearly 30 meters high. Recommended duration: 30-60 minutes.
2⃣ Badwater Basin. The lowest point in North America, covered in white salt, creates a mesmerizing scene resembling a snow-covered expanse under the sky. Recommended duration: 30-60 minutes.
3⃣ Artists Drive. A palette of colors painted by nature. Driving around this nine-mile loop offers a captivating view of the colorful mountains and terrain, as if you were on another planet. Make a stop at Artists Palette for some great photo opportunities. Recommended duration: 15 minutes.
4⃣ Zabriskie Point. After parking, take a short walk of about 400 meters to a small hill, where you can admire the golden mountain ranges and layered patterns. This is the best spot to witness a sunset. Recommended duration: 15-30 minutes.
5⃣ Dante's View. From this viewpoint, you can take in a panoramic view of the entire park, capturing the magnificent sight of Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the United States, and Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America. Recommended duration: 1 hour.
6⃣ Golden Canyon. The rugged cliffs of the Golden Canyon present various shades of gold that shimmer under the sunlight. It's a pleasant hiking trail where you can choose your desired length. Up close, you'll witness the gradient-colored mountain and rock formations, while in the distance, you'll see the red canyons reminiscent of the famous Arizona cathedrals.
